Extracting Gastric Motility information from finger Photoplethysmography (PPG)

Properties related to the circulatory system are usually extracted from finger Photoplethysmography (PPG). But there is at least one case of extracting extracardiac information from PPG  viz., the respiratory rhythm. Extending this line of argument we show that it is possible to extract gastric motility information from finger PPG.
