• A Glimpse on
research work : One of the prime candidates in the treatment of
debilitating human cancers especially ALL includes a class of enzymes referred
to as L-asparagine amidohydrolase, EC 3.5.1.1. I am working in the area of L-Asparaginase
(Anti-tumor drug) production from fungal or bacterial origin. In the present
context I have isolated some species capable of growing in asparagine content.
The organisms mostly belong to bacterial origin. Work will be carried out for
maximizing the L-Asparaginase production and purification with best strain.
