•  A Glimpse on research work : The subject of my research is the biochemical studies on phospholipid (PL) scrambling by human phospholipid scramblase1 (hPLSCR1). The hPLSCR1 is supposed to translocate phosphatidylserine (PS) on the cell surface due to an increase in intracellular Ca2+. However, the mechanism of this Ca2+ dependent PL scrambling is poorly understood. I am studying the mechanism of PL scrambling by hPLSCR1 using eukaryotic cell membranes and model membranes like liposomes
