Top Down Proteomics:

This involves identification of proteins present in a complex mixture prior digestion. Proteins extracted from the sample of interest and fractionated can be analysed using an Orbitrap based Mass spectrometer with CID, HCD and ETD fragmentation.

Bottom Up Proteomics:

Digested Protein samples can be analysed by LC-MS/MS. Peptides are separated using a nano LC-Column and the eluant is subjected to Mass spectrometer using Electrospray ionization.

Targeted Quantification:

Mass of the target is monitored in the MS1 level and MS/MS scans can be triggered on confirmation of the target.

Intact Protein Characterization:
