Senior Scientists

Dr.S.Ananthi

She is working as Senior Scientist from July 2013 to till date. She finished her bachelor’s, master’s and master of philosophy degrees in Microbiology. She obtained her doctorate degree for Bio Medical Sciences from Madurai Kamaraj University. Her major research involves in identification & validation of prognostic biomarkers using proteomic approaches in oral cancer. In addition, she is been involved in understanding the role of RASSF proteins in regulating miRNA 1 & 133A2 and comparative analysis of RASSF [1,7,10] through proteome wide approach.

Dr.Lakshmi Revathi Perumalsamy, Ph.D

Senior Scientist ( October 2013- present)

She is working on the role of RASSFs particularly RASSF7 in regulation of tumor metastasis. Her current primary focus is to understand RASSF7 regulation of metastasis and inflammation. She obtained her integrated Master's (Hons) in Biological sciences and Bachelor's (Hons.) degree in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani (BITS-Pilani). Her doctoral thesis at National Centre for Biological Science (NCBS), Bangalore under the guidance of Dr. Apurva Sarin described a novel spatial regulation of Notch activity in mediating cell survival.
